Anyone have a way to automate this...
I'm extraordinarily sick of seeing this error. This does nothing to help streamline or increase efficiency in our warehouse. This adds time to an already timely shipping process.
The weight of the package as estimated in our system is estimated incorrectly. Therefore, the service imported into Shipstation is incorrect. In this case, the package was overweight for DHL GM Parcel Ground. The manual workaround is, we select the "service" drop down (click 1) select the appropriate service "DHL GM Parcel Plus Ground" (Click 2) then have to wait for Shipstation to refresh.
This also happens in the reverse, where the weight is too low to trigger the imported service and we have to manually switch from Parcel Plus Ground to Parcel Ground.
Automated/Customized error handling would be preferred. When this issue occurs, the best case scenario would be for Shipstation to automatically switch the service type.
Yes, getting better weight would help. We are in the process. However, this will never work completely as we have access to but do not stock up to 60,000 skus.
