One thing that ShipStation has allowed me to do is become an expert in the different products offered by the USPS. This probably saves me a couple bucks per package over my competitors. For example, I know my competitors ship our most popular product in a Medium Flat Rate box. And, about 5% of the time I do that also. But I mostly ship it in a USPS shoe box. I cut down the shoe box 1 inch, and the cubic rates save me $2 - $4 on the Medium Flat rate box. Also, I use the regional A box 5 times per day at least. There is much money to be saved hunting around the optimum shipping method..
